Ontario joint and uncontested divorce applications under Family Legal Services Provider (FLSP) authorization. We can act where the only claim is for a divorce, neither spouse opposes it, and both ordinarily reside in Canada.
A Family Legal Services Provider is a licensed Ontario paralegal authorized by the Law Society of Ontario to provide a defined set of family legal services. On divorce, that includes completing applications for joint and uncontested divorces where the only claim is for a divorce — not an annulment — and both spouses ordinarily reside in Canada.
If either spouse opposes the divorce, or the application (or a response) raises corollary issues such as support, property division, or parenting, the matter moves outside FLSP scope and must be referred to a family lawyer. We screen for that at intake — and again if the file changes.

FLSP authorization is a defined list, not a general family-law licence. If a screening question puts the file outside scope, we stop and refer you to a family lawyer.
We can represent one or both spouses on a divorce-only file that meets all of these conditions.

Timelines depend on the court location, whether the application is joint or simple, and how complete the supporting record is. We confirm the current filing path at intake.
We confirm both spouses ordinarily reside in Canada, the only claim is for a divorce (not an annulment), neither party opposes it, and corollary issues are already resolved or not being claimed.
We gather marriage and identity records, confirm child-support arrangements where children are involved (the court must be satisfied they are reasonable), and prepare the joint or simple divorce application.
We file with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Family Court). On a simple application we arrange service in Canada. On a joint application both spouses proceed together.
After the waiting period and supporting affidavits, we complete the materials for a divorce order. If the court raises issues that take the file outside FLSP scope, we refer you to a family lawyer.
Bring what you have. Gaps — especially on residence, prior marriages, or child support — delay filing and can take a file outside FLSP scope.
