BC PNP uses a points-based Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) — candidates register a profile, get scored, and compete for invitations across Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams. For 2026 the program is prioritising healthcare professionals, early childhood educators, skilled trades, and innovation-sector workers. We handle BC PNP files end to end from our Ontario office.
BC PNP runs two parallel tracks: Skills Immigration (a Base PNP — no Express Entry profile needed) and Express Entry BC (an Enhanced track that adds 600 CRS points to a federal Express Entry profile). Most candidates register through the BC PNP Online system and are scored under SIRS — the Skills Immigration Registration System.
SIRS scores are built from job-offer wage, location (working outside Metro Vancouver earns regional-development points), work experience, education, language proficiency, and employment type. Invitations go out in regular draws, often as targeted occupation draws for healthcare, childcare, construction, or tech. The Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (ELSS) stream was permanently closed in December 2024, narrowing BC PNP's scope to skilled occupations.
Each Skills Immigration category has a mirrored Express Entry BC version. We pick the strongest stream based on whether you already have an Express Entry profile, your occupation's targeted-draw cadence, and the SIRS points you'd score.
For workers in professional, technical, or managerial occupations (TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) with a full-time job offer from a B.C. employer. Most general workers register through this stream and compete via SIRS.
For physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and other in-demand healthcare workers with a B.C. employer offer. No SIRS registration required — direct application pathway in most cases.
For master's or doctoral graduates from an eligible B.C. post-secondary institution in natural, applied, or health sciences. No job offer or SIRS required if you apply within 3 years of graduation.
For recent graduates of any eligible Canadian post-secondary institution with a full-time B.C. job offer. Must apply within 3 years of completion. Scored under SIRS.
Targeted draws for Early Childhood Educators and assistants — a designated childcare-sector pathway with lower SIRS cut-offs to address B.C.'s acute ECE shortage.
Mirror streams that require an active federal Express Entry profile. Nomination through these streams adds 600 CRS points — effectively guaranteeing an ITA in the next federal draw. Faster federal processing (~6 months).
For experienced business owners or senior managers proposing to establish or buy a new business in B.C. Minimum net worth, investment, and job-creation thresholds apply.
A focused stream for entrepreneurs targeting smaller B.C. communities (population under 75,000). Lower investment threshold than the base entrepreneur stream.
BC PNP regularly runs targeted draws for these sectors — often with SIRS cut-offs well below general draws. If your NOC falls in one of these, your timing improves significantly.
Every BC PNP file is handled directly by Jugraj. The four steps below are the backbone — BC-specific details (SIRS scoring, regional points, employer registration) slot in where needed.
We assess your work history, language scores, occupation, education, and B.C. job offer. We confirm the strongest stream (Skills Immigration vs Express Entry BC) and project your SIRS score.
We register your SIRS profile in BC PNP Online (or file directly under Healthcare Professional / International Post-Graduate where SIRS is bypassed). We monitor targeted draws and respond to invitations within the 30-day window.
If invited and approved, BC PNP issues a nomination. For Express Entry BC streams, +600 CRS is applied to your Express Entry profile and an ITA follows in the next federal draw.
Full PR application to IRCC — medical exam, biometrics, supporting documents, security checks. We respond to procedural fairness letters and follow up on stalled files. You're walked through landing once approved.
The exact checklist depends on the stream and your family situation. This is the working inventory most BC PNP files need — we customise it after the first consultation.
A BC PNP file involves two sets of government fees: the BC PNP application fee, and IRCC's federal permanent-residence fees. The IRCC schedule below is the same fee structure that applies to every Express Entry and PNP-to-PR file.
IRCC fees as of April 30, 2026. Medical exam, language tests, ECA reports, translations, and police certificates are billed separately by their respective providers.
BC PNP charges a separate provincial application fee per stream (with a higher tier for Entrepreneur Immigration). Fees are confirmed at the time of application via the BC PNP Online portal; we cover the current amount at the consultation.
Tell us about your work history, target B.C. occupation, language scores, and your B.C. connection. We'll respond within one business day with the BC PNP streams that fit and your projected SIRS score.
