NBPNP reopened in a controlled manner on February 5, 2025 and is currently running four streams: Skilled Worker, Express Entry Labour Market, Strategic Initiative (francophone), and Entrepreneurial. As of May 4, 2026, NB Experience pathway invitations are limited to healthcare, education, and construction trades. We handle NBPNP files end to end.
NBPNP paused intake in 2024 and reopened in February 2025 in a controlled, sector-targeted form. The program currently runs four streams: Skilled Worker (with NB Experience and NB Graduates sub-pathways), Express Entry Labour Market (an Enhanced stream that adds 600 CRS on nomination), Strategic Initiative for francophone candidates, and Entrepreneurial for business owners.
NBPNP is currently running on a sector-prioritised intake. From May 4, 2026, the NB Experience pathway of the Skilled Worker stream issues invitations only to candidates working in healthcare, education, or construction trades — "until further notice". The other streams (Express Entry Labour Market, NB Graduates, Strategic Initiative, Entrepreneurial) remain open without that sector restriction.
NBPNP intake is currently sector-targeted on its largest pathway (NB Experience). Other streams remain accessible — we pick the strongest at the consultation.
For foreign workers with at least 12 months of continuous NB employment and a permanent NB job offer. Currently invitation-limited to healthcare, education, and construction trades from May 4, 2026 until further notice.
For graduates of PGWP-eligible programs at New Brunswick post-secondary institutions, with NB work experience in their field. Not subject to the May 2026 sector restriction.
For skilled foreign nationals with an active Express Entry profile and an NB job offer in a priority occupation. Nomination adds 600 CRS — effectively guarantees an ITA in the next federal draw.
Targets French-speaking foreign nationals with connections to New Brunswick. Supports the province's Acadian and francophone communities — language and connection are central.
For senior business managers and experienced business owners who plan to invest in and actively operate a business in New Brunswick. Includes EOI, business plan review, and exploratory visit.
From May 4, 2026, NB Experience ITAs go only to candidates in these sectors. The Strategic Initiative stream remains a separate pathway for francophone candidates regardless of sector.
Every NBPNP file is handled directly by Jugraj. The four steps below are the backbone — NB-specific details (NB Job Offer Form, employer registration, francophone evidence) slot in where needed.
We assess your work history, language scores (English/French), occupation, education, and NB connection. We pick between Skilled Worker (NB Experience or NB Graduates), Express Entry Labour Market, Strategic Initiative, or Entrepreneurial.
Most NBPNP streams require a registered NB employer and an EOI or invitation. We coordinate with the employer to file the NB Job Offer Form and register your EOI in the NBPNP system.
If invited and approved, NBPNP issues a nomination. For Express Entry Labour Market, +600 CRS is applied to your federal profile and an ITA follows in the next federal draw.
Full PR application to IRCC — medical exam, biometrics, supporting documents, security checks. We respond to procedural fairness letters and follow up on stalled files. You're walked through landing once approved.
The exact checklist depends on the stream and your family situation. This is the working inventory most NBPNP files need — we customise it after the first consultation.
An NBPNP file involves two sets of government fees: the NBPNP application fee, and IRCC's federal permanent-residence fees. The IRCC schedule below is the same fee structure that applies to every Express Entry and PNP-to-PR file.
IRCC fees as of April 30, 2026. Medical exam, language tests, ECA reports, translations, and police certificates are billed separately by their respective providers.
NBPNP charges a modest provincial application fee per stream — Skilled Worker and Express Entry Labour Market sit at one tier, Entrepreneurial at a higher tier with additional good-faith deposit and exploratory visit costs. Confirm the current amount at the consultation.
Tell us about your work history, target NB occupation, language scores (including French), and any New Brunswick connection. We'll respond within one business day with the NBPNP streams that fit and the next steps.
