NTNP is one of Canada's smallest PNPs — 197 nomination slots for 2026 split across the Employer-Driven Stream (with Skilled Worker, Critical Impact Worker, and Express Entry sub-pathways) and the Francophone Stream. A new EOI selection model launched on March 9, 2026 for the Employer-Driven Stream. We handle NTNP files end to end from Ontario.
NTNP runs two streams in 2026: the Employer-Driven Stream (with three sub-pathways — Skilled Worker, Critical Impact Worker, and NWT Express Entry) and the Francophone Stream. Both lead to a provincial nomination and then federal PR.
The Employer-Driven Stream introduced an EOI selection model on March 9, 2026 — candidates and employers register an Expression of Interest, get scored, and wait for an invitation rather than applying directly. The Francophone Stream continues to accept direct applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. NTNP's 197 nomination slots for 2026 are split across both streams.
Both NTNP streams need an NWT employer job offer. The Employer-Driven Stream now uses an EOI model; the Francophone Stream still accepts direct applications on a first-come basis.
For workers with a permanent, full-time job offer from an NWT employer in a skilled occupation (TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3). Submitted via the new EOI model from March 9, 2026.
For workers in lower-skilled but critical NWT occupations (TEER 4–5) with at least 6 months of NWT work experience and an employer offer. Submitted via the new EOI model from March 9, 2026.
For TEER 0–3 candidates with an active federal Express Entry profile and an NWT employer job offer. Nomination adds 600 CRS points — effectively guarantees an ITA in the next federal draw. Now EOI-based.
Dedicated stream for French-speaking foreign nationals with an NWT employer offer. Continues to receive direct applications on a first-come first-serve basis (not subject to the new EOI model).
Every NTNP file is handled directly by Jugraj. The four steps below are the backbone — NWT-specific details (employer eligibility, EOI scoring, francophone evidence) slot in where needed.
We assess your work history, language scores (English/French), occupation, and the NWT employer's eligibility. We map you to the right NTNP stream — Skilled Worker, Critical Impact Worker, NWT Express Entry, or Francophone — and coordinate the employer-side filing.
For the Employer-Driven Stream, we register the EOI in the NTNP system and wait for an invitation. For the Francophone Stream, we submit a direct application on a first-come basis when the intake is open (intake opened March 9, 2026).
If invited and approved, NTNP issues a nomination. For NWT Express Entry, +600 CRS is applied to your federal profile and an ITA follows in the next federal draw.
Full PR application to IRCC — medical exam, biometrics, supporting documents, security checks. We respond to procedural fairness letters and follow up on stalled files. You're walked through landing once approved.
The exact checklist depends on the stream and your family situation. This is the working inventory most NTNP files need — we customise it after the first consultation.
An NTNP file involves two sets of government fees: a modest NTNP application fee, and IRCC's federal permanent-residence fees. The IRCC schedule below is the same fee structure that applies to every Express Entry and PNP-to-PR file.
IRCC fees as of April 30, 2026. Medical exam, language tests, ECA reports, translations, and police certificates are billed separately by their respective providers.
NTNP charges a modest provincial application fee per stream. Compared to larger PNPs the provincial fee is low — most of the file cost is the federal IRCC fees. Confirm the current amount at the consultation.
Tell us about your work history, the NWT employer (if you have one lined up), language scores (including French), and any NWT connection. We'll respond within one business day with the NTNP streams that fit and the next steps.
