Portal status: The EOI portal opened on August 4, 2026. The employer submits the job offer first; you then register an EOI within 30 calendar days. This calculator cannot create or submit an OINP profile.

1

Pathway and occupation

The second digit is the TEER. The first digit is the broad occupational category. Ontario pre-populates both from the job offer or physician NOC.
2

Employment and labour market

If you have under 6 months in the offered position, or you are not currently in it, Ontario uses general Ontario work experience instead.
Based on a CRA Notice of Assessment.
3

Education

Each credential must be a post-secondary credential from an eligible Canadian institution that takes at least one year full-time.
4

If you have both English and French tests, use the test with the higher overall CLB. Academic and One Skill Retake tests are not accepted.
Both tests must be CLB 6 across all four abilities to score 10 points for two official languages.
5

Job or practice location

Regionalization uses Ontario census divisions. Inside the GTA except Toronto means Durham, Halton, Peel and York.
