October 26, 2026 Express Entry PNP Draw: 792 ITAs at CRS 761

On October 26, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry round #451, a Provincial Nominee Program round. IRCC's official rounds data, retrieved on October 27, 2026, records the round at October 26, 2026 at 10:38:23 UTC. The department issued 792 invitations to apply for permanent residence. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 761. The tie-breaking rule is April 03, 2026 at 18:00:26 UTC.

This is a program-specific round. IRCC's rounds of invitations page says a Provincial Nominee Program round invites candidates who are eligible for the PNP, not the rest of the pool. Confirm the figures on the ministerial instructions table and the instruction for round #451.

The previous PNP-only round, #448 on October 13, 2026, issued 752 invitations at CRS 772. Round #451 issued 40 more invitations, and the cutoff was 11 points lower.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, IRCC sets the cut-off by the date and time the Express Entry profile was submitted. At a CRS of exactly 761, the profile had to be submitted before April 03, 2026 at 18:00:26 UTC. A later profile at 761 was not invited.

Round date, profile date, and filing deadline

These dates do different jobs.

  1. Round date. Invitations went out on October 26, 2026 at 10:38:23 UTC.
  2. Profile date. The tie-break uses when the Express Entry profile was submitted. It is not the day a province agreed to nominate you, and it is not the day you file for permanent residence.
  3. Filing deadline. IRCC's PNP permanent residence page says you have 60 calendar days from the invitation to apply online. That clock does not move to November 3.

On November 3, 2026, the CRS criteria page says IRCC will recalculate profiles, which could take up to two weeks, and will pause invitation rounds during that time. That pause is about later rounds. It does not cancel an invitation already issued in round #451. Use the 60-day deadline in your account.

If a change drops your score below the lowest score in your round, IRCC says to decline the invitation. Applying below that line can lead to a refusal, and the processing fee may not be refunded.

What 761 means beside a 600-point nomination

IRCC's get or confirm a nomination page says accepting a provincial or territorial nomination adds 600 points, and that 600 is the maximum for additional points. If you already have additional points for a job offer or Canadian study, IRCC adds only the 600 nomination points, and only once.

You have 30 calendar days to accept or reject the nomination message. Accepting is what leads IRCC to treat you as meeting the PNP requirements and what adds the points. An unaccepted nomination is not eligibility for this round.

A cutoff of 761, with 600 points from the nomination, leaves 161 points from core factors, spouse or common-law partner factors, and skill transferability. That is arithmetic from the two official numbers. IRCC did not publish 161 as its own cutoff. If the province withdraws the nomination, the 600 points go with it.

Pool snapshot as of October 25

The same record includes the CRS distribution as of October 25, 2026, the day before the round. Our October 26 pool post used the October 12 snapshot, which totalled 229,456. This snapshot totals 228,724.

CRS score rangeCandidates as of October 25, 2026
601 to 1200787
501 to 60020,535
451 to 50071,112

351 to 40047,911
301 to 35017,247
0 to 3007,627
Total228,724

The 601 to 1200 band holds 787 candidates in that pre-round snapshot. The 792 invitations went out the next day, so the two figures are not a list of who was invited.

If you were invited, and if you were not

If you received an invitation, note the 60-calendar-day deadline and confirm the nomination is still on that profile. Recalculate if anything changed. Below 761, decline. If the province withdraws the nomination before you apply, IRCC says to decline, withdraw the profile, and submit a new one. An invitation is not an approval.

If you were not invited, a score under 761, a profile after the tie-break at exactly 761, or a nomination never accepted will explain this round. You can stay in the pool while you remain eligible. A profile that is not invited within 12 months of submission expires. The 30-day window to accept a nomination still controls the 600 points. October 26 does not extend it.

The Express Entry and provincial nominee pages explain the federal application and the nomination that feeds it. For a review of a nomination, a score, or an application after this invitation, contact JSR Immigration & Legals through the consultation page.
